9U A/AA Specific rules:
No Leadoffs: A player can leave the base after it crosses the plate.
No Dropped 3rd Strike: The Player is out regardless on a 3rd strike.
Be at your field ready to play 30 minutes before your scheduled game time. Games may start early.

-These pitching limits are very liberal as structured and don’t consider pitch counts.
Coaches and parents are ultimately responsible for player pitch counts and arm health. We strongly recommend that teams and parents consider the MLB Pitch Smart Guidelines.

For 3+ teams tied, tiebreakers are reset after determining the #1 seed.
Pool play games can end in a tie.
The higher seed is the home team in bracket play.

At NorthWood High School & all Athletic Facilities, the following are not
permitted: Tobacco, Smoking, Vaping, Alcohol, or Pets. Please refrain
from using these products on campus and please leave pets at home.
Facility Rules:
Here are some need-to-knows that I would appreciate you sending to your
coaches to share with their staff and players.
• No metal spikes during practice, regular season, or conference play.
Molded, plastic, or turf shoes are acceptable.
• No seeds, shells, or gum on the field or in the dugouts.
• No pouring of water jugs or ice buckets on the turf. You may do so
outside of the dugouts and turf areas in our facility.
• No kicking, digging at the turf (commonly seen at the pitching plate or
batter boxes)
• No hitting baseballs/softballs into fencing around the facility.
• Please use padded walls in the bullpens for plyoballs and arm care.
• No destructive behavior towards but not limited to white boards,
benches, bat racks, and helmet racks in the dugouts.
